Chemotherapy Port

Today (Tuesday, December 9) Crystal is having an implantable chemotherapy port inserted. It is an outpatient surgical procedure. We ask for your prayers for a swift and painless recovery.

Definition:
A chemo port is a thin, soft, plastic tube surgically implanted into a vein in your chest or arm. It allows healthcare professionals to draw blood and deliver chemotherapy drugs directly into a vein without having to insert an IV needle each time.

  1. Hello, my name is Ashley, I am friends with Crystal's younger brother Michael. My heart sunk when Mike told me about Crystal. Although I have never personally met her, I've heard a lot about her. I would like Crystal and her family to know that she is in my thoughts and prayers and I hope she gets through this. She has a beautiful family and people who love her dearly, I can tell she's a fighter. I will be following her journey and the best of luck to you Crystal! Much love from So Cal!
